HEROES: KS4 Commended

Luna in Y10 shares this beautiful poem which conveys that abosultely anyone can be a hero. Luna said: You don't have to be a perfect, famous, rich, or strong person to be anyone's hero. I wrote this poem using six-line stanzas in the shape of an angel wing to symbolise that we are all heroes of the world.


Hero is in every move,

every pronunciation.

It can hurt.

It can even



the next person may be

more scarred, more

damaged. You

share time



You form grace and dignity.

Being a hero is not

walking away.

Nor is it



I walk amongst grey clouds.

Dove is how I view me.

When heroes’ eyes

shine roseate,

I am a red
